Preheat your oven to 425°F.
Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and marinate them in a mixture of olive oil, lemon juice, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper for at least 15 minutes.
While marinating, peel (if desired) and cut the sweet potato into thin fry-like strips.
Toss the sweet potato fries lightly in a small drizzle of olive oil along with a pinch of salt and smoked paprika.
Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers.
Place both the chicken skewers and the sweet potato fries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Arrange fries in a single layer for even roasting.
Roast the sweet potato fries in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and tender.
At the same time, grill or broil the chicken skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning once, until they are fully cooked and have a slight char.
Remove both from heat, plate them together, and serve hot.
