Savor the bold flavors of a perfectly pan-seared garlic-infused sirloin steak paired with crispy roasted potatoes. This dish delivers a delightful balance of savory steak, aromatic garlic, and the satisfying crunch of roasted potatoes, finished with a hint of olive oil and fresh herbs.
INGREDIENTS
5 oz Sirloin Steak
150g Potato
1/2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 clove Garlic
Pinch Salt
Pinch Black Pepper
1 tbsp Fresh Parsley
PREPARATION
Preheat the oven to 425°F.
Wash and dice the potato into small cubes. Toss them with half the olive oil, a pinch of salt, and pepper.
Spread the potato cubes on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes until they are crispy and golden, stirring halfway.
Meanwhile, pat the steak dry and season it generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the remaining olive oil.
Crush the garlic clove lightly and add it to the skillet. Sear the steak for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, spooning garlic-infused oil over the steak.
Once cooked to your preferred level, remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
Slice the steak against the grain, plate it alongside the crispy roasted potatoes, drizzle any remaining garlic oil over top, and finish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
