Enjoy a succulent piece of baked salmon enhanced by a homemade teriyaki glaze and served alongside perfectly crispy roasted broccoli. This dish balances savory and slightly sweet flavors with a healthy dose of protein and a satisfying crunch, ideal for a nutritious dinner.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Salmon Fillet
1 tbsp Low Sodium Soy Sauce
1 tsp Honey
1 tsp Fresh Grated Ginger
1 clove Garlic, minced
1 cup Broccoli
1 tsp Olive Oil
Pinch of Black Pepper
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, and minced garlic to create the teriyaki glaze.
Place the salmon fillet on a lined baking sheet. Brush half of the teriyaki glaze evenly over the salmon. Season lightly with a pinch of black pepper.
In a separate bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil and a pinch of black pepper. Spread them out on another baking sheet.
Place both the salmon and broccoli in the oven. Bake the salmon for about 12-15 minutes or until it flakes easily with a fork, and roast the broccoli for 15-20 minutes until crispy and tender.
Remove from the oven and, if desired, brush the salmon with any remaining glaze before serving alongside the roasted broccoli.
