Enjoy a vibrant dish featuring a perfectly pan-seared salmon fillet drizzled with a homemade teriyaki glaze, served alongside crisp, roasted broccoli. The harmonious blend of sweet and savory flavors makes this meal both satisfying and nutritious.
INGREDIENTS
5 oz Salmon Fillet
1 cup Broccoli (chopped)
1 tsp Olive Oil
2 tbsp Low Sodium Soy Sauce
1 tsp Honey
1 clove Garlic, minced
1 tsp Fresh Ginger, grated
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F.
On a baking sheet, toss the broccoli with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast in the oven for 15-20 minutes until tender and slightly crispy.
While the broccoli roasts, mix the low sodium soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a small bowl to create the teriyaki glaze.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Season the salmon fillet with salt and pepper.
Place the salmon skin-side down (if applicable) in the skillet and sear for about 3-4 minutes. Flip the salmon and pour the teriyaki glaze over it.
Continue to cook the salmon for an additional 3-4 minutes, spooning the glaze over the top until the salmon is cooked through and has a caramelized exterior.
Plate the salmon alongside the roasted broccoli and drizzle any remaining glaze over the top. Serve immediately.
