Enjoy succulent roasted chicken thighs paired with crisp garlic green beans. The skin crisps up beautifully in the oven, releasing aromatic flavors that perfectly complement the lightly sautéed green beans. This dish combines robust protein with crisp, vibrant vegetables for a satisfying meal.
INGREDIENTS
2 pieces Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs (226g total)
1 cup Green Beans (125g)
2 Garlic Cloves (6g)
1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil (14g)
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Season them with salt and black pepper.
Place the chicken thighs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle a little olive oil over the chicken to help crisp the skin.
Roast the chicken in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy.
While the chicken is roasting, trim the ends of the green beans and rinse them thoroughly. Mince the garlic cloves.
Heat the remaining olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the green beans to the skillet, and sauté for about 4-5 minutes until they are tender-crisp. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Once the chicken is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
Plate the crispy roasted chicken thighs alongside the garlic green beans and serve immediately.
