Enjoy a hearty, protein-packed dinner featuring a succulent pan-seared sirloin steak paired with perfectly hard-boiled eggs, seasoned simply with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. This animal-based carnivore dish offers a balanced combination of rich, savory flavors with a satisfying finish.
INGREDIENTS
5 oz Sirloin Steak
2 Large Eggs
1 tsp Olive Oil
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Black Pepper
Pinch of Garlic Powder
PREPARATION
Bring a small pot of water to a boil. Carefully place the eggs in the water and simmer for 9-10 minutes for a firm yolk.
While the eggs are boiling, pat the sirloin steak dry with paper towels. Season both sides with a pinch of salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the steak and sear for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until desired internal temperature is reached.
Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Once the eggs are done, transfer them to an ice bath for a couple of minutes, then peel them.
Plate the sliced steak alongside the hard-boiled eggs and serve immediately.
