Enjoy a perfectly seared salmon fillet paired with tender garlic-infused green beans and a creamy cauliflower mash. The dish offers a delicate balance of flavors, with the richness of salmon complemented by the freshness of green beans and the subtle, comforting notes of mashed cauliflower.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Salmon Fillet
1 cup Green Beans (~100g)
150 g Cauliflower
2 tsp Olive Oil
1 Garlic Clove
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
PREPARATION
Season the salmon fillet with salt and pepper.
Heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the salmon skin-side down and sear for about 3-4 minutes. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
Meanwhile, steam the green beans until tender-crisp, approximately 4-5 minutes.
In a small saucepan, steam the cauliflower florets until very tender (about 8-10 minutes). Transfer to a bowl and mash with 1 teaspoon olive oil, a minced garlic clove, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Drizzle the steamed green beans with a little lemon juice and season lightly with salt and pepper.
Plate the seared salmon alongside the garlic cauliflower mash and green beans. Serve immediately.
