INGREDIENTS
1 piece Chicken Thigh (approx 180g)
1 cup sliced Carrots (128g)
1 cup Fresh Green Beans (125g)
1 tablespoon Maple Syrup
1/2 tablespoon Olive Oil
2 sprigs Fresh Thyme
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Pat the chicken thigh dry with a paper towel. Season generously with salt, pepper, and a few fresh thyme leaves.
In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup with olive oil. Set aside a small portion of the glaze for finishing.
Place the chicken thigh on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Arrange the sliced carrots and green beans around the chicken.
Drizzle the remaining maple syrup mixture evenly over the carrots and green beans. Toss the vegetables lightly to coat them.
Roast the chicken and vegetables in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
If needed, during the last 5 minutes, spoon a bit more of the reserved glaze over the vegetables to enhance their shine and flavor.
Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with additional thyme if desired.
