Roasted Baby Back Ribs with Healthy Sticky BBQ Glaze
Savor the rich, smoky flavor of tender baby back ribs with a homemade, sugar-free sticky BBQ glaze. This dish features slow-roasted ribs enhanced by a tangy blend of sugar-free ketchup, apple cider vinegar, and Dijon mustard, finished with a hint of smoked paprika and garlic powder for a perfect balance of sweet and savory.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Baby Back Ribs (170g)
2 tbsp Sugar-Free Ketchup (30g)
1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar (15g)
1 tsp Dijon Mustard (5g)
0.5 tsp Smoked Paprika (1.5g)
1 tsp Garlic Powder (3g)
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
Pat the baby back ribs dry with paper towels and season generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil. Cover the ribs tightly with another piece of foil to lock in moisture.
Roast in the oven for about 2 to 2.5 hours until the ribs are tender and the meat is pulling away from the bone.
While the ribs are roasting, prepare the healthy sticky BBQ glaze by mixing together sugar-free ketchup, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, and smoked paprika in a small bowl.
Once the ribs are tender, remove the top foil and brush the ribs generously with the BBQ glaze.
Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and return the ribs to the oven uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes. This will allow the glaze to caramelize slightly.
Remove from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
