Savor the succulent flavor of a perfectly pan-seared steak paired with crisp, golden roasted baby potatoes tossed in garlic and fresh herbs. This dish delivers a delightful mix of textures and a burst of savory goodness in every bite.
INGREDIENTS
4 oz Top Sirloin Steak (113g)
150g Baby Potatoes
1/2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil (7g)
1 Garlic Clove
1 tsp Fresh Rosemary
1 tsp Fresh Thyme
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F.
Wash the baby potatoes and cut them in halves. Toss the potatoes in a bowl with olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary and thyme, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet in a single layer and roast for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy, turning halfway through.
While the potatoes are roasting, pat the steak dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat until it’s very hot. Add the steak and sear for about 3-4 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until you achieve a desirable crust and the steak reaches your preferred level of doneness.
Let the steak rest for a few minutes after cooking, then slice if desired and serve alongside the crispy garlic herb roasted potatoes.
