INGREDIENTS
4 oz Sirloin Steak
0.5 tbsp Unsalted Butter
1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
100g Baby Potatoes
1 cup Fresh Green Beans
1 clove Garlic
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F.
Wash the baby potatoes and cut them into halves or quarters depending on their size. Toss them in a bowl with extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes until crispy and golden, stirring halfway.
Meanwhile, season the sirloin steak with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the unsalted butter and let it melt. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Place the steak in the skillet and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust cooking time to your preferred doneness.
In the last 5 minutes of the potatoes' roasting time, gently steam or saute the fresh green beans until tender yet crisp.
Plate the steak, spoon a little of the garlic butter from the skillet over it, and serve alongside the crispy roasted potatoes and green beans.
