1 tbsp Fresh Sage, chopped
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss the diced butternut squash with a pinch of salt and a few sage leaves, and spread it on a baking sheet. Roast for 20-25 minutes until tender and slightly caramelized.
While the squash roasts, slice the chicken sausage into rounds and dice the apple. In a nonstick skillet over medium heat, sauté the sausage until it starts to brown. Add the diced apple and most of the chopped sage, allowing the flavors to meld for about 5 minutes.
