INGREDIENTS
5 oz Sirloin Steak (142g)
1 small Potato (150g)
1 tsp Unsalted Butter (4.7g)
2 cloves Garlic
2 sprigs Fresh Rosemary
2 sprigs Fresh Thyme
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Black Pepper
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F.
Wash the potato thoroughly, then cut it into small cubes. Toss with a pinch of salt, a pinch of black pepper, chopped rosemary, and thyme.
Spread the potato cubes on a baking sheet and roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until crispy and golden, stirring halfway through.
While the potatoes roast, pat the steak dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the steak. Sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side (adjust the time per your desired doneness).
In the last minute of cooking, add the unsalted butter and garlic cloves to the pan. Spoon the melted garlic butter over the steak as it finishes cooking.
Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for a couple of minutes before slicing.
Plate the sliced steak alongside the crispy herb roasted potatoes, drizzle any remaining garlic butter from the pan over the top, and serve immediately.
