Enjoy a vibrant and satisfying dish featuring crispy tofu coated in toasted sesame seeds alongside a colorful medley of sautéed vegetables. This dish is packed with protein, fresh flavors, and a delightful crunch, making it a versatile option for a healthy breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
INGREDIENTS
300 grams Extra Firm Tofu
1/2 cup Shelled Edamame
1 medium Red Bell Pepper
1 cup Broccoli
1 small Carrot
1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
1 Garlic Clove
PREPARATION
Press the tofu for at least 15 minutes to remove excess liquid, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
In a bowl, gently toss the tofu cubes with soy sauce and sesame seeds to coat evenly.
Heat the sesame oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and sauté briefly until fragrant.
Add the tofu cubes to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until the tofu becomes golden and crispy on all sides.
While the tofu is cooking, slice the red bell pepper, chop the broccoli into florets, and cut the carrot into thin rounds or matchsticks.
In a separate pan, lightly sauté the vegetables for 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp, seasoning lightly with a pinch of salt if desired.
Combine the crispy tofu with the sautéed vegetables and gently toss them together to blend the flavors.
Plate the dish and serve warm as a fulfilling breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
