This dish is both nourishing and balanced, with a harmonious blend of savory and lightly sweet flavors.
INGREDIENTS
300g Extra-Firm Tofu
1 cup chopped Broccoli
1 cup chopped Red Bell Pepper
1 medium Carrot
1/2 cup halved Snap Peas
1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
1 tbsp Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
1 tsp Vegetable Oil
1 tsp minced Fresh Ginger
1 clove minced Garlic
PREPARATION
Press the tofu for at least 20 minutes to remove excess water, then cut it into cubes.
In a small bowl, toss the tofu cubes with low-sodium soy sauce and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the tofu and fry until all sides are golden and crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Remove tofu from the pan and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and ginger. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the chopped broccoli, red bell pepper, carrot, and snap peas to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Return the tofu to the pan with the vegetables. Toss gently to combine and reheat the tofu.
Sprinkle the remaining sesame seeds over the dish and serve hot.
