INGREDIENTS
6 oz Chicken Breast (170g)
2 tbsp Almond Flour (14g)
1/4 cup Fresh Orange Juice (60g)
1 tsp Orange Zest (2g)
1 clove Garlic (3g)
1 tsp Fresh Ginger (2g)
1 cup Green Beans (125g)
Salt & Pepper to taste
Olive Oil Spray
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Pat the chicken breast dry and season both sides lightly with salt and pepper.
Coat the chicken breast evenly with almond flour. For extra crispiness, you can spray lightly with olive oil spray before coating.
Place the coated chicken breast on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
While the chicken is baking, prepare the orange glaze by whisking together fresh orange juice, orange zest, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a small saucepan. Bring to a gentle simmer and let it reduce slightly for 5 minutes.
Steam the green beans until tender-crisp, about 4-5 minutes, then season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Once the chicken is done, remove it from the oven and drizzle the warm orange glaze over it.
Plate the chicken alongside the steamed green beans and serve immediately, enjoying the crisp, zesty flavors.
