Pan-Seared Garlic Herb Steak with Crispy Roasted Potatoes
Savor the rich flavors of a perfectly pan-seared garlic herb steak paired with crispy roasted red potatoes. The steak is seasoned with fresh garlic, rosemary, and thyme to create a savory crust while the potatoes are lightly tossed in olive oil and herbs before roasting to golden perfection.
INGREDIENTS
5 oz Top Sirloin Steak
150 g Red Potato
1 tsp Olive Oil
2 cloves Garlic
2 sprigs Fresh Rosemary
2 sprigs Fresh Thyme
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Black Pepper
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Wash and cut the red potato into bite-sized pieces. Toss them in a bowl with olive oil, a pinch of salt, pepper, and half of the chopped rosemary and thyme.
Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet in a single layer and roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden and crispy, stirring halfway through.
While the potatoes roast, season the 5 oz top sirloin steak on both sides with salt, pepper, chopped garlic, and the remaining rosemary and thyme.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak and sear for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust cooking time to your desired doneness.
Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Plate the steak alongside the crispy roasted potatoes and serve immediately.
