PREPARATION
Rinse the salted cod briefly to remove excess salt, then soak in water for 10-15 minutes if desired to mellow the saltiness. Drain well.
Place the cod in a pot with a little water and steam over medium heat until it flakes easily, about 8-10 minutes. Once done, gently flake the fish using a fork.
For the green banana, peel and slice into thick rounds. Steam the banana slices until tender, approximately 10-12 minutes.
