INGREDIENTS
4 oz Lean Ground Turkey
1 cup Whole Wheat Ziti Pasta, cooked
1 cup Fresh Spinach
1/4 cup Part-skim Ricotta Cheese
1 tbsp Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 clove Garlic, minced
1 tsp Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
Cook the whole wheat ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a skillet over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant for about 30 seconds.
Add the lean ground turkey to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through.
Stir in the fresh spinach and cook until just wilted.
Mix in the cooked pasta and part-skim ricotta cheese until evenly combined.
Transfer the pasta and turkey mixture to a lightly greased baking dish. Sprinkle the grated parmesan evenly over the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese topping becomes slightly crispy and golden.
Remove from the oven, let it cool for a couple of minutes, and serve warm.
