Seared Salmon Fillet with Garlic Green Beans and Brown Rice
Enjoy a harmonious plate featuring a perfectly seared salmon fillet crowned with a light garlic infusion, paired with crisp, sautéed green beans and a serving of nutty brown rice. Each bite balances tender, flaky fish with fresh, vibrant vegetables and hearty grains.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Salmon Fillet
1 cup Green Beans
½ cup Cooked Brown Rice
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 cloves Garlic
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the salmon fillet dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat half the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once shimmering, place the salmon fillet skin-side down (if applicable) and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and just cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the green beans and a pinch of salt, stirring occasionally. Sauté for 4-5 minutes until they are tender-crisp and slightly charred.
While the beans are cooking, gently reheat your pre-cooked brown rice if needed.
Plate the dish by placing the brown rice first, top with the seared salmon, and arrange the garlic green beans on the side. Serve immediately and enjoy the balanced flavors.
