INGREDIENTS
6 oz Chicken Breast (approx. 170g)
1 cup White Button Mushrooms (approx. 70g)
2 cloves Garlic
1 tsp Unsalted Butter
1 tsp Olive Oil
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the chicken breast dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
Place the chicken breast in the skillet and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
While the chicken is cooking, slice the mushrooms and mince the garlic.
In a separate medium pan, melt the butter over medium heat and add the minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add the sliced mushrooms to the garlic butter and roast them until tender and lightly browned, stirring occasionally, for about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Once the chicken is done, remove it from the skillet and let it rest for a couple of minutes before slicing.
Plate the chicken breast and spoon the roasted garlic butter mushrooms on top or on the side. Serve warm.
