Pan-Seared Garlic Butter Steak with Crispy Roasted Potatoes
Savor a beautifully seared sirloin steak dressed in a garlic butter sauce paired with crispy roasted baby potatoes. The steak is perfectly pan-seared to preserve its juices while the potatoes roast to a golden crisp, creating a harmonious blend of hearty and satisfying flavors ideal for a nourishing dinner.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Sirloin Steak
150 g Baby Potatoes
1 tbsp Unsalted Butter
1 Garlic Clove
1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 tbsp Fresh Parsley
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F.
Wash and halve the baby potatoes. Toss them in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet and roast for about 20-25 minutes until crispy and golden, turning halfway.
While the potatoes roast, season the steak generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sear for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust cooking time as preferred.
In the last minute of cooking, reduce the heat and add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, spooning the melted garlic butter over the steak.
Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Plate the steak alongside the roasted potatoes and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
