INGREDIENTS
4 oz Chicken Breast (113g)
1 cup cooked Egg Noodles (160g)
1 medium Carrot (61g)
1 stalk Celery (40g)
1 small Onion (70g)
1 clove Garlic (3g)
4 cups Low Sodium Chicken Broth (960g)
2 tbsp Fresh Mixed Herbs (16g)
1 Bay Leaf
PREPARATION
Prepare all ingredients by dicing the carrot, celery, and onion, and mincing the garlic. Roughly chop the fresh herbs.
In a large pot, add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add the bay leaf and minced garlic for initial flavoring.
Add the diced vegetables to the simmering broth and let them soften for about 5-7 minutes.
Thinly slice the chicken breast and add it to the pot. Simmer gently until the chicken is cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
Stir in the cooked egg noodles and chopped herbs. Allow the soup to heat through for another 2 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove the bay leaf before serving.
Serve hot and enjoy this comforting, clear broth soup.
