1 tsp Olive Oil (4.5g)
2 Romaine Lettuce Leaves (50g)
1 tsp Ground Cumin
1 tsp Chili Powder
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Rinse and drain the black beans if using canned. In a large bowl, mash the beans slightly, leaving some texture.
Stir in the rolled oats, diced red bell pepper, diced red onion, minced garlic, ground cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
In a separate small bowl, lightly beat the eggs and mix in the nutritional yeast until well-combined.
Add the egg mixture to the bean mixture and stir until the ingredients are evenly combined.
Form the mixture into patties of your desired size.
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the patties in the skillet and cook until they are crispy and golden on one side, about 3-4 minutes.
