INGREDIENTS
5.3 oz Beef Sirloin Steak (~150g)
1 cup Broccoli (~156g)
1 cup White Mushrooms (~72g)
1 tbsp Butter (~14g)
1 tsp Extra Butter (~5g)
2 cloves Garlic
1 tsp Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F. Toss the broccoli with olive oil, salt, and pepper, then spread it evenly on a baking sheet. Roast for about 15-20 minutes until tender and slightly charred.
While the broccoli roasts, pat the beef steak dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
Heat a heavy skillet or cast iron pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak and sear for about 3-4 minutes per side or until your desired degree of doneness is reached. Transfer the steak to a plate and let it rest.
In the same pan, lower the heat to medium and add the butter and extra butter. Once melted, add minced garlic (from 2 cloves) and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Add the mushrooms to the skillet. Sauté them in the garlic butter for about 4-5 minutes until they are tender and have absorbed the flavors.
Plate the seared steak alongside the roasted broccoli and garlic butter mushrooms. Serve immediately and enjoy your Keto-friendly dinner.
