Savor the tangy brightness of citrus-infused grilled steak paired with sweet roasted bell peppers and tender onions. This dish brings together succulent top sirloin with a fresh, herbaceous marinade and a colorful medley of vegetables, finished with a drizzle of olive oil for a finishing touch.
INGREDIENTS
5 oz Top Sirloin Steak
1/2 medium Red Bell Pepper
1/2 medium Yellow Bell Pepper
1/2 small Yellow Onion
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
2 tbsp Fresh Herbs (parsley, thyme)
1 tsp Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Combine lemon juice, fresh herbs, salt, and pepper in a small bowl to make the marinade.
Place the steak in a shallow dish and pour half of the marinade over it, ensuring it’s well coated. Allow to marinate for at least 20 minutes.
Preheat the grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
Slice the bell peppers and onion into thick strips. Toss them with the remaining marinade and a drizzle of olive oil.
Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust cooking time to your preferred doneness.
At the same time, grill the vegetables for about 3-4 minutes per side until charred and tender.
Allow the steak to rest for a few minutes before slicing thinly against the grain. Serve with the grilled vegetables on the side.
