INGREDIENTS
5 oz Chicken Breast
1/4 cup Buttermilk
1/4 cup Whole Wheat Breadcrumbs
1 cup Green Beans
1 tsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Paprika
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
In a shallow bowl, combine the buttermilk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Place the chicken breast into the buttermilk mixture and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
In another small bowl, prepare the whole wheat breadcrumbs. Optionally, mix in a pinch of salt and additional paprika for flavor.
Transfer the marinated chicken to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Coat the top of the chicken with the breadcrumbs.
In a separate bowl, toss the green beans with olive oil, salt, and pepper until well coated.
Arrange the green beans around the chicken on the baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the green beans are tender and slightly crispy.
Allow to rest for a few minutes before serving.
