A light yet satisfying dinner featuring juicy seared turkey breast served alongside garlicky sautéed green beans and creamy mashed cauliflower blended with extra olive oil for a rich, silky finish. This dish brings flavor and finesse without compromising on clean eating.
INGREDIENTS
5 oz Turkey Breast (approx. 140g)
1 cup Green Beans (125g)
1 cup Cauliflower (107g), mashed
2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 cloves Garlic
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Season the turkey breast lightly with salt and pepper.
Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the turkey breast for about 4-5 minutes on each side until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Trim the green beans and rinse thoroughly. Mince the garlic cloves.
In a separate pan, heat a small amount of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté briefly until fragrant. Toss in the green beans and cook for about 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Steam the cauliflower florets until very tender, about 10 minutes. Transfer the steamed cauliflower to a blender or use a hand masher to create a smooth mash. Stir in 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, and add salt and pepper to taste.
Plate the dish by slicing the turkey breast, then serve alongside a generous portion of garlic green beans and creamy mashed cauliflower. Enjoy immediately.
