INGREDIENTS
5.75 oz Salmon Fillet (~163g)
1/3 cup cooked Brown Rice (~55g)
1 cup Green Beans (~125g)
1 tsp Olive Oil
1 clove Garlic
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the salmon fillet dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil then sear the salmon fillet skin-side down first, cooking for about 3-4 minutes until crispy.
Flip the salmon gently and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes, until the salmon is just cooked through. Transfer to a plate and let it rest briefly.
In the same skillet, add a lightly crushed garlic clove and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the green beans to the skillet, tossing them in the garlic-infused oil. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the green beans turn bright and slightly tender, but still crisp.
Reheat or gently warm the pre-cooked brown rice as preferred.
Plate the dish by placing the brown rice as a base, arranging the seared salmon on top or to the side, and topping with the garlic green beans. Serve immediately.
