Pan-Seared Garlic Butter Steak with Crispy Roasted Potatoes
Savor a beautifully seared sirloin steak bathed in a garlic butter sauce, paired with perfectly crispy roasted baby potatoes. This dish brings together tender meat and crunchy potatoes with a rich, aromatic garlic butter that elevates every bite.
INGREDIENTS
5 oz Top Sirloin Steak
150g Baby Potatoes
2 cloves Garlic
1 tbsp Unsalted Butter
1 tsp Olive Oil
2 tbsp Fresh Parsley
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
Wash the baby potatoes and cut them in halves. Toss the potatoes with olive oil, a pinch of salt and pepper, and half of the minced garlic.
Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet and roast them in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until crispy and golden, stirring halfway through.
While the potatoes roast, season the sirloin steak generously with salt and pepper.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare (adjust the time based on your preferred doneness).
In the last minute of cooking, add the butter and remaining minced garlic to the pan. Spoon the melted garlic butter over the steak to enhance its flavor.
Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes.
Slice the steak against the grain and plate with the crispy roasted potatoes. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
