INGREDIENTS
7 oz Salmon Fillet
0.75 cup cooked Jasmine Rice
1 cup Stir-Fried Broccoli
2 tbsp Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
2 tsp Fresh Ginger, minced
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1 tsp Honey
1 tsp Sesame Oil
2 tbsp Green Onions, chopped
PREPARATION
Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and prepare a small bowl for the glaze.
In the small bowl, combine low-sodium soy sauce, minced ginger, minced garlic, honey, and sesame oil to create the soy-ginger glaze.
Pat the salmon fillet dry and place it skin-side down in the preheated skillet. Sear for about 3-4 minutes until the skin is crispy.
Flip the salmon and pour half of the soy-ginger glaze over the top, letting it caramelize as it cooks for another 4-5 minutes until the fish is just cooked through.
Meanwhile, steam the jasmine rice until tender, and set aside keeping warm.
In another pan or the same skillet once the salmon is done, quickly stir-fry the broccoli over high heat for 2-3 minutes until crisp-tender, seasoning lightly with a pinch of salt if desired.
Drizzle the remaining glaze over the cooked broccoli, toss gently, and remove from heat.
Plate the salmon alongside the steamed jasmine rice and stir-fried broccoli, garnishing with chopped green onions for a fresh finish.
