Savor the rich flavors of a perfectly seared steak paired with crispy roasted potatoes, all enhanced by a garlic butter finishing touch. This dish delivers a satisfying balance of protein and energy while offering a delightful medley of textures and aromas.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Top Sirloin Steak (170g)
1 medium Red Potato (100g)
1 tsp Olive Oil (5g)
1 tsp Unsalted Butter (5g)
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped
Salt & Black Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F.
Wash the red potato and cut it into bite-sized cubes. Toss the cubes in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
Spread the potato cubes on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden and crispy.
While the potatoes roast, pat dry the top sirloin steak and season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak and sear for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust timing based on thickness and desired doneness).
During the last minute of cooking, add the minced garlic and butter to the pan, allowing the butter to melt and the garlic to infuse the steak with flavor. Spoon the garlic butter over the steak.
Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes.
Plate the steak alongside the roasted potatoes and sprinkle chopped fresh parsley on top for a burst of color and freshness.
