Enjoy a vibrant and satisfying stir-fry where crispy tofu meets an assortment of fresh vegetables. The toasted sesame oil and seeds add a delightful crunch and nutty aroma to the dish, making it a flavorful option for a balanced meal.
INGREDIENTS
200g Extra Firm Tofu
1 tbsp Sesame Oil
80g Red Bell Pepper
100g Broccoli
50g Snap Peas
1 clove Garlic
1 tsp Fresh Ginger
1 tbsp Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
1 tsp Sesame Seeds
PREPARATION
Press the tofu for at least 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
In a bowl, gently toss the tofu cubes with half of the sesame oil and a pinch of salt to help crisp them up.
Heat the remaining sesame oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the tofu cubes and cook until golden and crispy on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove tofu and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the chopped red bell pepper, broccoli florets, and snap peas to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are just tender but still crisp.
Return the crispy tofu to the skillet. Drizzle in the low-sodium soy sauce and toss gently to combine all ingredients well.
Sprinkle the dish with sesame seeds before removing from heat. Serve immediately and enjoy your balanced, flavorful stir-fry.
