INGREDIENTS
350 grams Extra-Firm Tofu
150 grams Broccoli
2 tablespoons Sesame Seeds
3 cloves Garlic
1 tablespoon Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
1 tablespoon Cornstarch
PREPARATION
Press and drain the tofu for at least 15 minutes, then cut into bite-sized cubes.
In a bowl, toss tofu cubes with cornstarch until evenly coated.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of oil. Sauté the tofu until golden and crispy on all sides. Remove from skillet.
Preheat your oven to 425°F. Toss broccoli florets with a little oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 15-20 minutes until tender and slightly charred.
In the same skillet, add a small drizzle of oil and sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the low-sodium soy sauce and toss in the crispy tofu, stirring to combine.
Plate the tofu, drizzle with toasted sesame oil, sprinkle the sesame seeds, and serve with the roasted broccoli on the side.
