Pan-Seared Garlic Butter Shrimp with Roasted Asparagus
Enjoy a beautifully balanced dish of succulent shrimp seared in a fragrant garlic butter sauce, paired with perfectly roasted asparagus. This dish combines the sweet, tender shrimp with crisp, lightly charred asparagus, all elevated by the rich and aromatic butter and olive oil infusion.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Shrimp (peeled & deveined)
1 cup Asparagus
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1 tbsp Unsalted Butter
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Lemon Wedge
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place the asparagus on the baking sheet, drizzle with a little olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Roast in the oven for 10-12 minutes until tender and lightly browned.
While the asparagus is roasting, pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add the extra virgin olive oil. Sear the shrimp for about 2 minutes on each side until they turn pink and are just cooked through.
Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the unsalted butter to the skillet along with the minced garlic. Stir for about 30 seconds to infuse the butter without burning the garlic.
Squeeze the lemon wedge over the shrimp and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
Plate the shrimp alongside the roasted asparagus and serve immediately.
