INGREDIENTS
5 oz Chicken Breast
1 tbsp Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Honey
1 tsp Olive Oil
2 cloves Garlic
1 tsp Ginger
2 cups Broccoli
1 tsp Sesame Seeds
PREPARATION
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, mix low-sodium soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the teriyaki sauce.
Place the chicken breast on a plate and pour half of the teriyaki sauce over it, allowing it to marinate for at least 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, toss broccoli in a small bowl with olive oil and a pinch of salt. Spread evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
Place the chicken on another baking tray and brush with the remaining teriyaki sauce.
Roast the broccoli in the oven for 15-20 minutes until tender with slight char, and bake the chicken for 18-20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Turn the chicken halfway through for even cooking.
Once done, slice the chicken, drizzle any extra pan juices over, and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
Plate the sliced sticky teriyaki chicken alongside the roasted broccoli and serve immediately.
