Savor a beautifully seared sirloin steak finished with a garlic butter glaze, perfectly paired with crispy roasted baby potatoes. This dish delivers a satisfying balance of protein and comforting flavors, ideal for a hearty dinner.
INGREDIENTS
5 oz Sirloin Steak
150 g Baby Potatoes
0.5 tbsp Unsalted Butter
2 Garlic Cloves
1 tsp Olive Oil
1 sprig Fresh Rosemary
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Wash and halve the baby potatoes. Toss them in olive oil, salt, pepper, and rosemary.
Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes until crispy, stirring halfway through.
While potatoes roast, pat the steak dry and season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare (adjust time for desired doneness).
During the last minute of cooking, add butter and minced garlic to the pan. Spoon the melted garlic butter over the steak.
Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes.
Slice the steak against the grain and serve alongside the crispy roasted potatoes.
