INGREDIENTS
1 piece Chicken Breast (5 oz, ~142g)
1 ounce Cream Cheese (28g)
1 small Jalapeño (14g)
1 ounce Avocado (28g)
1 tsp Olive Oil (4.5g)
0.5 tsp Garlic Powder
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
Using a sharp knife, carefully butterfly the chicken breast by slicing horizontally without cutting all the way through, creating a pocket for the filling.
In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, finely diced jalapeño, diced avocado, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and evenly blended.
Spoon the creamy mixture into the pocket of the chicken breast, packing the filling gently.
Secure the opening with toothpicks if necessary. Season the outside of the chicken with additional salt and pepper.
Place the stuffed chicken in the hot skillet and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
Remove from skillet and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
