INGREDIENTS
5 oz Lean Ground Beef (90% lean)
1.5 oz Cheddar Cheese
2 cups Romaine Lettuce, shredded
1 medium Tomato, sliced
6 slices Pickles
1/4 medium Red Onion, thinly sliced
1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat a grill pan or outdoor grill to medium-high heat.
Season the lean ground beef with salt and pepper, form it into a patty, and grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
While the beef is grilling, prepare the salad by arranging shredded romaine lettuce in a bowl, and topping it with sliced tomato, pickles, and red onion.
Once the beef is done, place the grilled patty on top of the salad and immediately sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese so it slightly melts.
Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil over the salad and add a pinch more salt and pepper if needed before serving.
