Savor the rich flavors of a perfectly pan-seared sirloin steak, enhanced with a crispy exterior and complemented by tender, garlic herb roasted asparagus. A simple yet indulgent dish that brings culinary finesse and balanced nutrition to your plate.
INGREDIENTS
5 oz Lean Sirloin Steak
1 cup Asparagus
1 tsp Olive Oil
1 clove Garlic
1 tbsp Fresh Herbs (Parsley & Thyme)
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the steak dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add half of the olive oil.
Once the oil is shimmering, place the steak in the skillet and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side for a crispy exterior and medium-rare interior. Adjust time according to your preferred doneness.
While the steak is searing, preheat your oven to 425°F.
Toss asparagus with the remaining olive oil, minced garlic, fresh herbs, and a pinch of salt and pepper on a baking sheet.
Roast the asparagus in the oven for about 8-10 minutes until tender yet slightly crisp.
Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Plate the steak alongside the roasted asparagus and serve immediately.
