Savor a deliciously seared sirloin steak enhanced with a rich, garlic-infused butter drizzle, perfectly paired with crispy roasted potatoes. This dish delivers a delightful contrast of tender meat and crunchy sides, making it an ideal option for a fulfilling dinner.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Sirloin Steak (170g)
1 medium Potato (150g)
1 tbsp Unsalted Butter (14g)
2 cloves Garlic (6g)
1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil (5g)
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) for the roasted potatoes.
Wash the potato and cut it into bite-size cubes. Toss the cubes in a bowl with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, salt, and pepper.
Spread the potato cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for about 20-25 minutes until crispy and golden, stirring halfway.
While the potatoes roast, season the sirloin steak generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak to the dry pan, and sear for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust time according to preference).
In the last minute of cooking, lower the heat and add the butter along with minced garlic to the pan. Spoon the garlic butter over the steak as it finishes cooking.
Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Slice against the grain, if desired.
Plate the sliced steak alongside the crispy roasted potatoes, drizzling any remaining garlic butter over the top. Serve immediately and enjoy.
