Enjoy a vibrant plate featuring a perfectly seared salmon fillet complemented by crisp garlic-infused green beans and a silky, comforting cauliflower mash. This balanced dish delivers a satisfying mix of flavors and textures, ideal for a nutrient-rich dinner.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Salmon Fillet
1.5 cups Fresh Green Beans
1 cup Cauliflower
1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 cloves Garlic, minced
Salt and Pepper (to taste)
PREPARATION
Pat the salmon dry and season with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the salmon, skin-side down if applicable, and sear for about 3-4 minutes per side until cooked to your desired doneness.
While the salmon is cooking, trim the ends of the green beans. In a separate pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Add the green beans to the pan with the garlic. Sauté for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp, stirring occasionally.
For the cauliflower mash, steam or boil the cauliflower florets until very tender, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and mash with a fork or immersion blender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Plate the salmon with a generous serving of garlic green beans and a side of cauliflower mash. Serve warm and enjoy!
