Seared Salmon with Steamed Green Beans and Garlic Cauliflower Mash
A vibrant and satisfying dinner featuring a perfectly seared salmon fillet paired with tender steamed green beans and a creamy garlic cauliflower mash. The dish balances rich, buttery salmon with fresh, crisp vegetables and a light, garlicky mash for a healthy, clean eating meal.
INGREDIENTS
6 ounces Salmon Fillet
1.5 cups Fresh Green Beans
1 cup Cauliflower
1 teaspoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 clove Garlic
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the salmon fillet dry and season with salt and pepper.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the salmon skin-side down for about 3-4 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
While the salmon is cooking, steam the green beans in a steamer or pot with a bit of water for 4-5 minutes until tender yet crisp.
Chop the cauliflower into florets and steam until very tender, about 8-10 minutes.
Once the cauliflower is soft, transfer it to a blender or food processor along with the garlic clove, olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Blend until smooth, adjusting seasoning as needed.
Plate the seared salmon alongside the steamed green beans and a generous scoop of garlic cauliflower mash. Serve immediately.
