INGREDIENTS
5 oz Beef Sirloin
1 cup Broccoli
1/2 cup Red Bell Pepper
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1 tsp Ginger, grated
1 tbsp Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
1 tsp Sesame Oil
1/2 tsp Cornstarch
PREPARATION
Thinly slice the beef sirloin against the grain.
In a small bowl, combine the low-sodium soy sauce and cornstarch (dissolved in a little water) for the sauce.
Heat the sesame oil in a large non-stick skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the beef slices to the skillet and stir-fry until they begin to crisp up and brown, about 2-3 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic, grated ginger, broccoli, and red bell pepper. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Return the beef to the skillet and pour in the sauce mixture. Stir everything together and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and evenly coats the beef and vegetables.
Serve immediately and enjoy your nutrient-packed, crispy beef and broccoli stir-fry.
