INGREDIENTS
6 oz Salmon Fillet
8 spears Asparagus
0.75 cup cooked Brown Rice
1 tsp Olive Oil
Pinch Salt
Pinch Black Pepper
PREPARATION
Pat the salmon fillet dry and season both sides with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
Heat the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
Once the oil is shimmering, place the salmon skin-side down. Sear for about 3-4 minutes until the skin is crispy.
Flip the salmon and cook for another 3-4 minutes until it is done to your liking.
While the salmon cooks, bring a pot of water to boil and add a pinch of salt. Steam the asparagus for 4-5 minutes until tender yet crisp.
Reheat the pre-cooked brown rice if needed, or steam it briefly until warmed.
Plate the salmon alongside the steamed asparagus and a serving of brown rice. Serve immediately.
