INGREDIENTS
4 chicken wings (160g total)
1 tablespoon honey (21g)
1 teaspoon soy sauce (5g)
1 teaspoon rice vinegar (5g)
1 garlic clove
1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
1 pinch crushed red chili flakes
Salt and pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and a pinch of crushed red chili flakes.
Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel, then season lightly with salt and pepper. Brush the wings evenly with half of the honey glaze.
Place the wings on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through. In the last 5 minutes, brush with the remaining glaze to build up a sticky coating.
Once cooked through and nicely caramelized, remove the wings from the oven. Let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
