INGREDIENTS
7 oz Lean Beef Strips (200g)
1 cup Green Beans (125g)
1.5 cups Cauliflower (150g)
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Unsalted Butter
2 cloves Garlic
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the lean beef strips dry and season with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the beef strips and sear them for about 2-3 minutes per side until browned but still tender in the center. Remove from the skillet and let rest.
Trim the green beans and rinse thoroughly. In the same skillet, add a bit of extra garlic if desired along with the green beans. Sauté for about 4-5 minutes until they are crisp-tender.
Meanwhile, steam the cauliflower until very tender, about 8-10 minutes. Transfer the steamed cauliflower to a bowl, add unsalted butter, and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.
Finely mince garlic cloves and sprinkle them over the green beans during the last minute of cooking for an aromatic finish.
Plate the seared beef strips alongside a serving of garlic green beans and a generous scoop of mashed cauliflower. Serve warm.
