INGREDIENTS
6 oz Sirloin Steak
1 cup Fresh Green Beans
1 cup Carrots, chopped
1.3 tbsp Olive Oil
1/2 medium Apple, sliced
2 Garlic Cloves, minced
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat the oven to 425°F. Toss the chopped carrots in half of the olive oil, a pinch of salt and pepper. Spread them evenly on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes until tender and caramelized.
Meanwhile, heat a skillet over high heat. Pat the sirloin steak dry and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
Add the remaining olive oil to the skillet. Once shimmering, sear the steak for about 3-4 minutes on each side (adjust timing for your preferred level of doneness). Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing.
In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, then add the green beans. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until the beans are tender-crisp and well coated with garlic and olive oil.
Plate the sliced steak alongside the roasted carrots and garlic green beans. Serve with a side of fresh apple slices for a burst of natural sweetness.
