This dish offers an elegant balance of savory steak flavor complemented by the aromatic nuances of garlic and fresh parsley, making it a satisfying meal for any time of day.
INGREDIENTS
5.5 oz Sirloin Steak (156g)
150g Baby Potatoes
1 tsp Unsalted Butter
2 Garlic Cloves
2 tbsp Fresh Parsley
1 tsp Olive Oil
Salt & Black Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F. Toss the baby potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking tray.
Roast the potatoes in the oven for about 20-25 minutes until crispy and tender, turning halfway.
While the potatoes are roasting, season the sirloin steak with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time for your preferred doneness.
In the last minute of cooking, add the unsalted butter and minced garlic cloves to the pan and spoon the melted garlic butter over the steak.
Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a couple of minutes, then garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
Plate the steak alongside the crispy roasted potatoes and drizzle any remaining garlic butter from the pan over the top before serving.
