Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a shallow bowl, whisk the egg. In a separate plate, place the almond flour seasoned lightly with salt and pepper.
Dip the chicken breast in the egg, then coat it evenly with the almond flour mixture.
Place the coated chicken on the baking sheet. In a small bowl, combine the orange juice, orange zest, and minced garlic.
Lightly drizzle half of the orange mixture over the chicken.
On another baking sheet or a separate area of the same sheet, arrange the broccoli florets. Drizzle with a little salt, pepper, and any remaining orange mixture.
Bake the chicken and broccoli in the preheated oven. Roast the broccoli for about 15-18 minutes until tender and slightly crispy around the edges, and bake the chicken for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and golden on the outside.
Optionally, during the last 5 minutes of cooking, brush an additional light coating of the orange mixture over the chicken for extra flavor.
Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving alongside the roasted broccoli.
